Adult Polycystic Kidney Disease
- Autosomal dominant
- large bilateral cysts that destroy the kidney paranchema
- clincal
- flank pain, hematuria, hypertension, UTI, renal failure (Hyperphosphatemia —> Hypocalcemia —> Parathyroid Hyperplasia).
- hypertension is associated with stroke due to Berry Aneurysms
- other findings: mitral valve prolapse, diverticulitis, polycystic liver disease
