Osteogenic Sarcoma
- malignant bone tumor
- most often in males 10-25 and then in older males
- risk factors are Paget's disease, familial retinoblastoma, irradiation
- location
- metaphysis of distal femur, proximal tibia
- radiograph
- "sunburst" & Codman's triangle (tumor lifting up the periosteum)
- mets to the lungs
