Post Infectious Glomerulonephritis
  • nephritic-syndromes
  • Most common type is poststeptococcal (group A b-hemolytic stepoccocal infection)
  • Pathology
    • Subepithelial deposits with granular IF
    • Diffuse proliferative growth pattern with neutrophil infiltration
  • Clinical
    • hematura 1-3 weeks following infection
    • increased ASO titers; increased anti-DNAase B titers
    • usually resolves
