Post Infectious Glomerulonephritis
- nephritic-syndromes
- Most common type is poststeptococcal (group A b-hemolytic stepoccocal infection)
- Pathology
- Subepithelial deposits with granular IF
- Diffuse proliferative growth pattern with neutrophil infiltration
- Clinical
- hematura 1-3 weeks following infection
- increased ASO titers; increased anti-DNAase B titers
- usually resolves
